Shot list

Shot list
First of all I plan to use lots of close ups and first person shots to make the audience feel close to the action and confined, as the film is about escaping the police I want the audience to feel as if they can’t get away and they are always being chased. Also i have choisen to film many shots with low key lighting or at night, this is all to create a dark and mysterious feel about the trailer as well as to show the film understands it's genre and will show this by the locations used.
.Film rating screen BBFC
.Distribution logo
.Medium shot character wearing smart clothes (shirt, tie etc) in a hallway, “come on its my first day at work stop giving me lectures”.
.Over the shoulder shot from character’s point of view showing flatmate standing in the doorway in similar clothing “I had to pull a lot of strings to get you this job so you’d better not embarrass me, your not going to be able to hang around with those criminals all night”.
.Long 2 shot of them both character says “they’re not criminals they’re my friends”.
.Production logo.
.Close up of criminal’s face hidden in the dark “you can’t just walk away from us and not expect consequences”.
.Medium 2 shot of character looking flustered “they say I’ve been doing things, but I don’t remember any of it”.
.Close up of character in flat “They said they’re going to the cops”.
.Extreme close up of printer with arrest warrant printing.
.Flash transition to running out of the back door and police running through his house trolley shot, high angle.
.Running through woods at night, police with torches 1st person shot from police officer.
.1st person from criminal loading gun in garage.
.Low angle shot of character at train station, police blocking exits.
.Extreme close up of criminal cocking gun.
.High angle from security camera watching character running towards train station first person from security camera.
.Extreme close up of computer screen with cursor flashing next to the word “TERMINATE.”
.Extreme close up of criminal holding smoking gun barrel
.Close up of character in alley breathing hard as if he is wounded.
.Tracking shot of character running through alley chased by criminals.
.Extreme close up of character’s face, backward over the shoulder shot of criminals closing in on him.
.Extreme close up of computer screen with cursor typing the word “MAINFRAMED.”
.Extreme close up of computer screen with cursor typing the words “COMING SOON.”

I have taken many ideas from the teaser trailers I have investigated. An example of this would be from eagle eye, I really liked the idea of a computer taking control of the character's life and I thought the implications of this are a modern topic as computer intelligence gets better. I also liked the teaser for hot fuzz with a short section of calm dialogue and then the classic fast paced action/explosion shots. This could be hard to put this into my trailer as obviously I don't have access to pyrotechnics so I might experiment with scale models and camera shots to make these look authentic. A teaser which I won't be taking anything from is Toy Story 3, although this trailer is very effective in the way it doesn't contain any footage fromthe actual film, I don't think it would work for mine as it works best for films with already famous prequels.
