Feedback survey

I created a survey to assess which type of genre people liked and why they liked it. This would be useful in deciding which genre to base my teaser on and what uses and gratifications i could aim it towards.
Expectations and Gratifications

1. What is your favourite genre? __________________
2. What do you expect to see in a film of this genre? E.g. horror film: low-key lighting etc.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
3. Why do you watch films of this genre in terms of uses and gratifications? E.g. purely for entertainment, for the social interaction.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
4. Would you watch a film from a different culture to learn about their culture or would you expect it to play up to our stereotypes?
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
5. Would you watch a film just for the social atmosphere of the cinema?
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
6. Do you enjoy being one step ahead of the characters and like to guess the ending of the film?
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
7. While watching a film which of these uses and gratifications would you rate highest? Escapism (escaping from reality), Social interaction, Identity (identifying yourself with a character or circumstance), inform and educate (gaining an understanding of the world by viewing a media text) or entertain.

Who would produce my film.

I put quite a bit if thought into who would produce this film.
http://www.newtownfilms.co.uk/ I think that new town films would be perfect for my film as they are local (southend on sea) and they seem to do a range of genres including drama/action so they should be interested in producing my film. http://www.screeneast.co.uk/ I also think screen east might be a good choice for funding as I have seen on the new town films website that they also helped to fund a film on there called “Tester”.

The UK Film Council will also be interested in funding my film as they specialise in low budget independant films and as they funded the Film Bear Bunch's last film Cool Ridings they would be happy to associate with us again.

Realisation of equilibrium disruption – police officer’s house, police looking for him, list of habits information about him as if they have been building a file on him for years, police don’t know they have file on him, something isn’t right.

Ring on the doorbell, runs out the back while friends try to stop him, police at the door.
Titles, style police report? “When even your friends turns on you for something you don’t even know about”

Character’s friend, taken by police, don’t know where they’re being taken even police don’t know, orders came from their superiors. Generic “where are you taking me!” sort of dialogue.
Police asking their superiors why they are after the character, even their superiors don’t know where the orders came from and advise the police that it may be from a higher power such as he a government agency.

Repair, character trying to find out who framed him by going to some cyber criminals, dark, low-key back alley.
They take him to their house, low-key, computers, hot, dark; tell him he’s way over his head, conspiracy theories.

Chase through the streets, lots of different shots of the police chasing him (first person, trolley shots,)
Police station “he got away again, he is just an ordinary guy, why the hell can’t you guys keep up with him!”
